Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson may be done, but her dad still wants the quarterback to "support the family" at Ashlee's weekend wedding.

"Joe has called Tony and asked him to come to show support for the wedding,"
a source tells Usmagzine.com.

It's unclear if Romo accepted Joe's request, but he's scheduled to fly into L.A. over the weekend.

Romo wasn't present at a bachelor party Joe threw for Pete and a few of his pals at Mr. Chow's on Thursday night. E! reports a steady supply of beer and wine was brought to their table. After the celebration, Joe picked up the $1,000 tab!

(Back at Ashlee's parents' Encino, California, home, Jessica and mom Tina threw a bachelorette party for Ashlee that E! reports was a "mellow arrair." About a dozen of Ashlee's closest family members and friends attended the backyard event, deocrated with balloons.)

Ashlee (who is pregnant) and her fiancé Pete Wentz are tying the knot on Saturday. Big white tents were being set up at her parents' home on Thursday.

"Proper invites have not been sent out but instead guests have been given a save the date notice," a source told Us.

The rehearsal dinner - described by the source as "an intimate affair" for "family and close friends only" - will take place on Friday.

...From most so-called sources Tony was upset by Jessica's reaction to Mayer and Anniston going public.  He had also had it with Papa Joe.  Sad for Jessica, but until she can move on from a heartbreak, and from her Dad...this will become a broken record for her.  Have a good cry and move on Jessica.
