What is so hard to understand about this very simple concept....if you father a child you are obligated to that child both emotionally and financially!!!  I am absolutely FED UP with my ex for not taking care of his responsibilities and most importantly,not being around for his daughter.  The State of Florida, Department of Revenue is an absolute JOKE...they could care less about my child's well being. 

My ex-husband owes over $25,000.00 in back child support and yet the State of Florida has no problem reinstating his driver's license just because he made a one time payment of $1,000.00 back in January to keep his sorry a** out of jail.  He is now living in another state where he obtained a VALID driver's license and STILL is not paying his support.  I have given the State of Florida his location (on more than one occasion because he moves around so much) and they have done nothing in the last 7 months to further suspend his driver's license or issue a warrant for him.  When I am finally able to reach an actual person at the Dept. of Revenue I am told that there is nothing I can do to speed along the process...basically they will "get to it when we get to it". 

I work very hard at my career to make a good life for my child (and try not to complain), but sometimes I just have to vent this frustration or I might spontaneously combust!!!  I know  God is good and he will take care of us, but just ONCE I would like to see the system work for the good guys.

Virgin to this blogging thing...love listening to XL while I'm making the long commute to and from work (Johnny & Jayde and the gang in the a.m.; Stick in the p.m.).  Work in Daytona Beach...finally got rid of all of the NASCAR traffic!!!
