    Just some thoughts

    It's Thursday and I don't know if you are like me but you could use a vacation. I haven't taken a vacation since Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love, love what I do. But sometime you just need some time to get away. Some time to just do anything other than what you are doing everyday. Some time to get back to just being who you are. When you work day after day, you sometime forget who and what you are. You sometime forget important people in your life. All you do is work, work, work. Well I'm at a point where I need to just recharge myself. Get away long enough to miss this place. Long enough to say, "I'm ready to go back to work" I believe one of the keys to success is ,to work hard and then play hard. There has to be a balance. You can't do more of one then the other. I do have vacation coming up in the middle of July. I'm here until then but believe me when vacation is on, I am out. I know I am going to Charlotte for a few day  because I really do miss my family. Then, I am out of here,no phone, no 2 way and no computer. I might even grow a beard. I don't even know.

    When you feel like you need a vacation, where do you go and what do you do?

    Amen on needing a vacation. We take alot of 3 day mini vacations that help me recharge and 95% of the time my vacations involve fishing. I can't wait for August 1 to get here because it is a 3 day break down in Stuart with all my Addictive Fishing friends. And as soon as we can can afford to take a whole week off I still have a free vacation waiting for me in the Keys. Not like Brian's free stay but a nice house right on the water. My vacation was cut short with my sister's accident we drove all that way had just got on the water when I recieved that horrible phone call so back home we came. And I am so ready to have that vacation that never really got off the ground.

    I love being on boats I wish I could live on one traveling the world.

    I could not agree with you more. Vacations are awesome as well as needed and in some cases well deserved!

    Have fun on ur vacation... the show won't be the same but its cool :)

    I need a vacation but it's not looking like it'll happen soon so I will stick to my weekend vacations lol

    I need a vacation too! I like to go to the beach or go up to MD/VA/DC and visit my girlfriends from college. ATL is always good for a quick road trip too. It's been a while since I've taken even a few days to relax and let off some steam. Definitely long overdue!!! Enjoy your time off!!!
