The new Game Informer has an article on Guitar Hero 4 and Microsoft is gearing up to knock Rock Band off the map. They are adding drums, vocals, and song creation and saving into the game.
The drum set is being considered 'better' already because of the placement of the pads. There are three pads and 2 cymbols up above them, more like a real digital drum set, with the foot pedal in the same place as Rock Band. I haven't seen the microphones, just heard speculation about them and I haven't been able to find a release date yet.
It is supposed to be able to allow you to customize your characters and your guitars even more than in the past and the interaction is supposed to be the best seen yet...

nelsoni am a listener. i like your mixes on the drive home whenever i can catch them. i'm not a fan of "war of the roses" (not a player hater), but i listen to them whenever i happen to be driving and they come on. some of these women that call in sound fruity, and they try to make the guy they no longer in a relationship, in many cases, feel guilty about moving forward. what ever happen to no ring no commitment, and like the 60's song, "my mama told me, you better shop around." aside from that yeah i know you're blunt, but brother don't hate the players, hate the game.
