Okay, so here's the deal....

A series of nearly-unfortunate events led to me starting my own business in order to support myself and my kids. I vowed to give back, though. My profession, after all, has always been social services. So what's the logical direction for The Taser Lady??? Violence Awareness, especially against women.

Rocky contacted me a few weeks ago with this harebrained idea of a raffle....I was confused, but thought, this lady could be on to something...Since I've met her I've gotten the bug, too. And now, we are ROLLING ALONG...

We are in the planning stages of a GOOD TIME event to raise awareness of violence against women as well as money to provide Tasers to individuals and/or advocacy centers. We have the support of some local law enforcement, as well as aome local business and media folk. We are still aiming high!!

If you are interested in joining in on the planning, providing items to raffle, promo items (tshirts, koosies, whatever) or cash sponsorships, or if you know anyone who may be in this position, please drop me a line.

I PROMISE you I ONLY go all out...this will happen BIG and hopefully, will be a "First" of many events!!

Hello, all Wired friends and friends to be (hint hint, add me!!)....

PLEASE keep our friend Rocky the Wrecker in your thoughts. She has AGAIN been viciously attacked by the sleazebags who live across the street from her. She spent Tuesday night in the hospital, but is now home and recovering nicely. I saw her last night....She's pretty tore up but all that did was FUEL HER FIRE!!!!!

On top of doing bodily injury, those ****s destroyed all the computer equipment (from surveillance to the PC) on her property. She is unable to log on but asked me to please share the story. She sends her love to all and believe me, is PISSED and making tracks to tell the world!!

Keep your eyes out for a party like only Rocky can plan. She and I are working together for women's rights and have some "STUNNING" events in the work; many heavy hitting local AND national folks involved.  If you want to get involved in the Raffle, have prizes to donate, etc, please drop me a message. Okay, so I WAS promoting Tasers for TaTas saturday night with ROCK PINK....until I passed out COLD...well, hot, actually. Every test known to man proved what I said all along, I was just overheated. BUT the good news is, I got to see the JAmes Boyd Band perform.

Jayde has played JAmes Boys on the radio, so I'm hoping some have heard him. I persoanlly thought they were excellent....apparently the votes went to another band, who I missed due to the unfortunate timing.

For anyone who wondered about the laws of carrying the C2 in Florida, the information above is the Florida LEGAL statutes regarding Tasers. The Taser C2 is considered a Remote Stun Gun as its tethered range is only 15 feet. (see bold section.)  While other Tasers that shoot further cannot be carried concealed, the non-lthal remote stun gun can be.

For clarification, I verified this information through my distributor, one of the largest in the nation. It's a shame there are poeple out there doing nasty business.
